On Sunday 18 January 2015, a group of volunteers acting against food wastage, have started quite an interesting new project in collaboration with Abattoir's own Service Propreté and the Cureghem asbl (non-profit), aiming at the saving of the food surplus that is present on our market. The project is called the COLLECTMET the distribution point of which is to be found at number 18, rue Ropsy Chaudron, on the piece of waste land situated in front of the entrance area of the new Food Hall presently under construction.
