The winter of 2020 will stay in our memories for quite a while, not only for the number of snow records broken, but mainly for all sorts of practical problems such a situation entails.
53 days of snow, a Curghem record
A record that only brought us quite some disturbance in our daily market activities and operations. Not only was there an overall shortage of salt, but also numerous other practical problems were created by those extreme weather conditions. Our Abatan team did their very best to provide as much shelter as possible from all winds and weather and to enable "doing business as usual". Often the standholders themselves were very creative and helpful too. Friends in need are friends indeed.
